Join Rev. Dr. Jo Hudson and Rev. Andrew Fiser, along with our friends from Greenland Hills, for coffee, conversation and refreshments on the second Sunday of each month in the narthex (that's a fancy church word for lobby).

Our next Coffee & Conversation will take place on December 12.

CHRISTMAS EVE CANDLELIGHT SERVICE

December 24 at 6:33pm - Onsite or Online

You, your family, family of choice, and friends are invited to join us for a special Christmas Eve Worship Service on Friday evening, December 24 at 6:33pm.

Our service will include the singing of your favorite Christmas hymns, a special Children’s Message, a sermon by Rev. Dr. Jo Hudson and the sharing of Holy Communion.

Come and celebrate where it all begins, in a manger. Come and share in the worship of a God who comes to us, shares our lives by becoming one of us. Come and worship this Christmas the birth of Emmanuel, God with us.

As a reminder, we consider anyone who worships with us part of our faith community and a Community Member. Covenant Membership is for those who want to go a step further, making covenant with the people of the church to support New Church with their prayers, presence, gifts, service, and study.

MARGARITAS & MISTELTOE

December 24 at 8:00pm

Immediately following our Christmas Eve candlelight worship service everyone is invited to the Hudsons' for a tamale dinner and holiday cheer. We hope you and your family or family of choice will plan to celebrate Christmas with us!

CHRISTMAS MORNING WORSHIP

December 25 at 11:00am ONLINE ONLY

This year Christmas day falls on a Sunday. We will still worship together that morning, but we will gather online only (not onsite). Join us on Facebook for a more interactive experience where you can chat with others or watch through our website.
Since we won’t be together onsite on Christmas morning, we hope you’ll make it a priority to join us for worship onsite on Christmas Eve and then for dinner at the Hudsons’ immediately following worship.

NEW YEARS DAY WORSHIP

January 1, 2023 at 11:00am - Onsite & Online

What better way to start the New Year than with your New Church Family?! You are invited to worship with us as we celebrate the New Year, sharing in a special Children’s Message, joining in a Covenant Prayer that calls us to live faithfully in our following of Jesus, participating in Holy Communion. We’ll also have black-eyed peas for a little luck for the New Year.

After all, most people will spend the early days of January committing to beginning new diets, starting new exercise programs, spending less, being more generous, slowing down, taking more time for family and friends, and generally being a better person. So, why not make being in church on a regular basis, every other Sunday, three times a month, or even every Sunday, part of your New Year plan? If you’re looking to be transformed into a New You in this New Year, New Church is the place to be.

TENTH ANNUAL FAMILY FRIENDLY

RETREAT & FLOAT TRIP

July 23 - 26, 2023

This trip is super relaxing and a great chance to enjoy some down time. We’ll cook our own meals at the camp, enjoy the use of the camp’s beautiful pool and river access, and spend time hanging out on and floating the Guadalupe River.

THE JOURNEY

Sept 28 - Oct 2, 2023

The Journey is a three-day spiritual renewal experience based on the Cursillo tradition. If you're looking for a way to deepen your faith and relationship with the church, the Journey is a great way to do so.
