UPCOMING EVENTS

MIDDAY CHECK IN

Wednesdays 12pm-12:30

A pastor will be online to receive and pray for anyone who would like to join. You will be invited to breathe deeply, hear God’s word prayed for you and others based on the Book of Common Prayer, Midday prayers for the day. It is our hope that all will allow the Holy Spirit to realign our bearings for the day. After this 10-minute time of prayer, anyone who wishes to log off will be welcomed to go about their day in God’s peace. If you have an additional few minutes you are invited to stay online to share where you are on your journey and affirm one another.

THURSDAY EVENING BOOK STUDY & CONVERSATION

Thursdays at 6:33pm

After spending over a year practicing social distancing, re-connecting with a faith community is more important than ever. Join us each Thursday evening at 6:33pm for a time of study and conversation led by Rev. Dr. Jo Hudson.

IN PERSON WORSHIP TO RESUME

May 23rd

As more and more of us are able to receive the COVID vaccine, and as positive cases and hospitalization rates continue to fall, based on CDC and local health official recommendations, IT’S ALMOST TIME TO BEGIN WORSHIPPING IN PERSON!

Our current plan is to begin welcoming people in person beginning Pentecost Sunday, May 23.

THE JOURNEY

Sept 30 - Oct 2

The Journey is a three-day spiritual renewal experience based on the Cursillo tradition. If you're looking for a way to deepen your faith and relationship with the church, the Journey is a great way to do so.

15th GLOBAL VILLAGE MARKET

Nov 6 & Nov 7

Greenland Hills United Methodist Church is holding its 15th annual Global Village Market – an amazing two-day event that brings together charitable organizations and fair-trade retailers to offer a truly unique holiday shopping experience.

New Church will host a table this year selling both pints of award winning chili, as well as bowls of chili or frito chili pie. All proceeds will help offset the cost of sending children and youth to chruch camp.
